We are using Struts 1.2.9 in our 5 year old application. For most of the action configurations, the scope is not mentioned in struts-config.xml. So they are defaulting to session scope. Now we would like to enable multiple tab support . Users are asking for the capability to copy from the order details in first tab to the order details on the second tab. So same user logs in to both the tabs and as you know all the tabs share the same Http session. My question is, if the user has opened same form in both the tabs(For example "edit form" of 2 different orders), if they save both the orders, will this cause data corruption as the form is session scoped ? If so please suggest the correct way to enable multiple tabs if you are already aware. I searched some posts/forums/sites but I could not find the answer.
