I want to know how to access (or use) mysql database from WebDav Server. I have setup tomcat WebDav Server. Basically, I want to list the files by querying from database. Any Api is there by using Java. How will be the response? Its an Xml or Json? I have setup the tomcat server by following url. http://www.mulesoft.com/tomcat-WebDav. Let me know if there are any better documentation.

Thanks,

Welcome to the JavaRanch, Dhamodharan!

Tomcat does not deal with either WebDAV or databases directly. The closest it comes is that it can oversee the construction and management of database connection pools. Everything else is done by the webapp. So what you are actually dealing with is a webapp provided by MuleSoft and installed into Tomcat.

I'm not familiar with that product, so I don't know if it has the ability to store and fetch data from a database instead of a filesystem. If it doesn't, then you'd either have to create a webapp that did, or customize their webapp to do so.

Customer surveys are for companies who didn't pay proper attention to begin with.

Thanks for your reply. Actually Mulesoft doesn't provide any webapp or so. They are telling how to configure WebDav Servlet in tomcat. But they haven't provide much detail about setup. My question here is setting up tomcat-webdav server and how to communicate between the WebDav Server and database. Please help me. Thanks
