JSTree DND selector question

Hi- I'm using JSTree DND. The problem is I have some attributes on <a> element which is the child of <li>; on dropping, how can I get lob-id or dept-id? I can get x-attr easily (data.o.attr), but how can I get to the child "a" of "li"?
please consider the following:

<div id="org-tree-div"> <ul> <li id="1"><a >GM</a> <ul> <li><a rel="nofollow">LOB2</a> <ul> <li class="dropable-field-container" ><a rel="nofollow">Sales</a></li> <li class="dropable-field-container" ><a rel="nofollow">Finance</a></li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> </div>

My attempts look like the following:

None seems to work, any pointers will be much appreciated.
