Deploying a Webservices project which is only a jar

My JAVA project contains restful webservices. It is a JAR and has a Webcontent and html files to invoke those webservices. How can i deploy this jar file with a webcontent in it and access those html pages inorder consume the webservices.

I think the correct way would be to make a new Dynamic Webproject, Copy all the code and reorganize it and deploy this war file. Accessing html and other stuff would be easy. I am however trying to avoid creating this manual copying.

Another way would be to change the eclipse-nature of the Java Project to make it a webproject, but it somehow didnot work.

Could someone help me understand if a JAR can have a Webcontent and can such a jar be deployed and used to test out the webservices.

thanks
