Hi,
I have a windows 7 32-bit system, which JDK 1.5 installed ( this is for a legacy application ). Now I have to install Websphere Server Toolkit 6.0 into this system. I have the setup and the patch files, but I am not able to install the main setup itself. Whenever I try to run the install.exe, i get windows message showing incompatible file... I tried to run it in compatible mode also, but still no change.. I even tried the silent run from command prompt: install.exe -option "./install-options.txt" -silent, but this also did not help. I can't change the OS or the JDK, as the application which I have to work on, uses these environments. Please tell me if there is a way to fix this..
Thanks

sorry for the delayed response, yes, i had given the exact path, it did not work out for me. but i did manage to install it, got a new exe path file from IBM website. I have installed it now, but i have ran into another problem. I have a dual core system with 3.5 GB ram, but somehow, whenever i use websphere, system gets really slow and then websphere crashes.. it is happening quite often, if i get to know that system is having issues, i can then contact the system admins for that. but what if the issue is with websphere itself? has anyone else experienced it?

thanks

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
