Hi Rob & Jan,

Took a quick look at the TOC for the book. Saw an appendix on Spring IDE, does it covers or illustrates how we could use Spring in some of the common IDEs such as Eclipse, JBuilder, etc? Or is there a dedicated IDE for Spring alone?

If I'm a Struts guy, which are the chapters that I should read that could get me started into developing in Spring in the shortest possible time-frame?

Thanks for answering my queries & enjoy your here in JavaRanch!

Yep, I know there's an Eclipse plugin for Spring, what I actually wishes to know is how the appendix addresses this issue. Is it just a brief introduction that there're IDEs that supports Spring but without any details in how to do the integration & configuration?

Also, is there like a step-by-step instructions that would help people get started in developing with Spring without the need to plough through thick books?

The appendix is specifically targeted at the Spring IDE plugin for Eclipse.
