Something basic :

I need to include the jars in my classpath which contain some of the EJB3 (j2ee6) classes, such as javax.ejb.EJB.

I've got netbeans and glassfish3 running on my machine. They know when javax.ejb.EJB is located, but for experimental purposes I need to know which jar.

How does one find this out? I could unpack every single jar on my machine and go through each class by class, but there must be a simpler way.

Doing a Windows file search for text "javax.ejb.EJB" does not help.

What can I do?

No need to unpack - "jar tf myJar.jar" will tell you what's inside a jar file. Start with the ones that are part of the GlassFish installation; it comes with those classes.

Thanks but is there anything like a web page which can speed up the search. Going jar by jar is quite tedious.

Very good Maneesh.

It didn't find the answer directly--it doesn't include netbeans 7 jars -- but from the appearance of the jars it did find, I was able to seek out a similar sounding jar (*javaee-api*.jar) and found the little so-and-so in the netbeans area under javaee-api-6.0.jar

Many Thanks !
