Setting height to dropdown box in Dojo 1.5.0

I have added a Dojo select box and the number of items in the list is coming to 100 values and when I want to select it is showing a big list. I need to set the height for the drop box so that list will have the scroll option.

I tried setting the height for the select box with widget attribute maxHeight and it is not working. Then i tried to set the height through css style..and even that is not working for me.

Please advice if any thoughts on this.
