I'm curious as to which features of Java 7 that you offer coverage on.

The book covers all of the features covered by the exam including the new Java 7 enhancements such as using strings in a switch statement. What I tried to do was to provide more in-depth coverage of the run-time behavior of Java in terms the the stack, heap, and how memory is allocated for objects. This is almost always missing from other books. Without this level of understanding it is difficult to address the problems that occur at run-time.

Associate Programmer certification adds to your qualification as a Java developer. Knowledge of Java is important, but knowing how to write an efficient and productive code adds to your skills and gives you an edge when you are planning to give the certification exam. Coverage of the objectives goes beyond a simple review of certification objectives.
