Axis2 Service (mar) and hibernate

I need to access mysql DB via hibernate from a Axis2 mar. I have run into many class loading problems when attempting to programatically create my sessionfactory. The only workaround I can find is to copy all of the jars from my mar into the main axis2 WEB-INF/lib directory. That hardly encapsulates my mar, but at least it works. Anyone have a better idea?
