Autocomplete bug (with primefaces)

I think I found a bug on the autocomplete component...

a have a view with two fields:
an autocomplete with any entity.
and input text with my numberConverter:

So this are the cases:
1 - valid number and valid autocomplete = OK
2 - invalid number and valid autocomplete = OK, I get my feedback because the number was incorrect.
3 - correcting the number in case 2, and subbiting = ERROR, because the autocomplete LOOSES the VALUE.

Here are the values of the autocomplete in:
case 2: value="1"
case 3: value="Supermercado"

Where "Supermercado" was the "label" value!

Heres the exception on my converter...

So, is it a primefaces bug? How can i correct this?
With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
