I have isntalled flash player on my machine. Now I opened mozilla brpwsers and navigated to Tools---Add Ons---Plugins.

I was not able to see the flash player there. When I searched as in the attachment it is not showing flash player as well. Please advise on how to configure flash player to mozilla so that by default when mozilla loads any paged with audio or video flash player playes. thanks in advance.

How to make flash player as default mozilla player. I still see for playing mp3, .wav files it is openign quick time player 7.7.2 and crashing. By the way mozilla i am using is 4.0 version. I see it is playing movie on this page

I tried toi make windows media player as mozilla default player for mp3 and .wav related files. It is invoking quick time all the time with quick time crash messages.

I see the

One of the plugins should say Shockwave Flash if Flash is installed. Current version is 11.5.502.110.

But I think I some how make useof windows media player as defauilt audio player. I do not care about videos though.I went to mozilla

Tools > Options > Applications and scroll down to MP3 and selected the windows media player program to play MP3s.

I do not see mp3 there under Applications.

I see some thing like below

MPEG Layer- 3 Audio(audio/mp3)
MPEG Layer- 3 Audio(audio/x-mp3)
MPEG Layer- 3 Audio(audio/mpeg3)
MPEG Layer- 3 Audio(audio/mp3)
MPEG Layer- 3 Audio(audio/x-mpeg3)

I wonder what is differences between all those 5. I changed all those 5 shown in attachment to windows media player. When the page loads the mozilla browser still loading quick time player and giving annoying quick time crashed message at the top as in the attachment

The 5 different options you see vary in the content-type or MIME type. Setting all of them to some application should invoke that application.
Usually a Firefox restart is required for the changes to take effect.
Moreover, Flash is associated with FLV or SWF files. Firefox will report a missing plugin if it is not able to play the embedded flash content.
