This kind of naive things, that the .net fellas say...

I have had a 5 kb applet that sent and received server side queries and it fitted security requirements too

Have you seen the code on client-side on yahoo mail and similar that hashes password to be sent over the net?

Applets can be used to do similar things...

And of course, clients can turn off Java and they can turn off Java-script too...
