Is there some good way to find out if there are Classes already made that you can use to do something that you need in a program?

Are you talking about classes independent from the Java api? If not, the oracle website contains documentation for all of its classes and also tutorials on how to use them.
Classes:

Tutorials:

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
