Some questions about this book -
1 - How does a netbeans certification prepare me for doing real world projects (NOT the hello world types) ?
2 - What value does this certification have in the Software Industry ? I have not come across any job description which mentions this cert.
3 - Does this book cover all or most of the things that a (junior ?) developer needs in his/her job ?
If yes, what are those things ?

I'm throwing the (recently created) NetBeans Certification forum to the mix. 
As far as I know, Robert Liguori himsefl frequents that forum. And since this very book has been promoted there a week or so ago, you might even find answers to your questions there.
