NetBeans interpreter?

Which interpreter does NetBeans use internally? That one that gets executed when you hit the 'run' button. That interpreter that outputs the batch commands "cd my\\app\\dir". What's its name?

NetBeans uses Ant as the build tool by default (you might want to check out the Ant, Maven and Other Build Tools forum).

Is this what you wanted to know? I wasn't sure I understood the answer.
