How to display a message when nothing is selected in a jspinner

Hi,

how can i display a message when nothing is selected in a jspinner using java?

i tried to restrict min and max because i didn't know to do for displaying message when nothing is selected in jspinner.
even here there is nothing.

public int getAlerte() {

Your question is not clear. Is your code not working as you expected? if so, what is your expectation?
And, what is the model you have set for your JSpinner?
