How to create login module in Servlets and JSP?

One way I know is using DAOs and Javabean. Username and passwords will be saved in database and DAO will check it.




What are other better ways of making login module?

Instead creating your own you might want to try the Spring Security. Here is the link to its website: Spring Security

There is a very useful framework available for accomplish user login and authentication by Jboss namely the Seam framework
