Not overly rich in features, not too bare bones.

I'd be willing to pay for a couple hours of consulting!

Are you just looking for a TO-DO list, or something along the lines of project management and tracking?

Not too basic, not too complicated, but JUUUSSSTTTT right.

That's my guess.

@Fred, it's that's in relation to Blondes, then I concur!

I'm more in Brunettes these days myself! ;)

Ah, of course! Never encountered that usage before but I like it.

I've most often heard it in terms of planets orbiting distant stars...Close enough that water isn't all frozen ice, but far enough away that it doesn't boil off...The Goldilocks zone is the region around the star where temps allow for liquid water - assumed to be a prerequisite for ALL life.

What exactly do you want ? Is it a simple app that keeps a list of to-do things ?

I'm not sure exactly what I want, in detail. In general, I need to rely less on my memory. I have several ongoing sources or *streams* of new tasks coming to me. I have to keep track of each stream separately, AND I have to be able to merge them so that I can juggle my time between them. It seems like a simple DB-based app that allows a few, sortable attributes for each to-do would be good. Other attributes might be a completion flag, a start date and an end date, and maybe a description of the solution.

I've heard good things about basecamp, but I haven't looked into it.

One of my clients uses BaseCamp. It's simple and useable (unlike Jira and other over-complicated collaboration tools).

It's intended for collaboration, by does have to-do list capabilities that might be useful to a single member.
