Last week, I connected to an SQL Server database for the first time using normal (not servlets) java objects.
I have this connected to a browser app (html) via AJAX and am printing the error message in the browser:
No suitable driver found for jdbc:sqlserver://MyComputer\SQLEXPRESS:1433;databaseName=MyDB;user=myself;password=xxxxx;
The object that is supposed to make the connection:

Another day of googling later, I think my problem is that the web app is not configured with a ref to the SQL Server driver. I at least hinted that I am new to this. I posted a short description this problem in the Tomcat forum without the code. Tomcat: Configure SQL Server (driver)
