Hello,

for backup reasons, I want to disable user connections to my tomcat server.

Does anybody know how to configure tomcat to deny connections for a specific time?

Thank you!

You can use the Tomcat Management app to take specific services (applications) off-line and later restart them.

and if you don't want to put your app down while taking backups, you can always modify linux shell script that does the backup, so it use iptables and cut off all connections to your listen port, do backup, and remove temp iptables block rule.
