When I clikc to package maven project it gives me error that metamodel classes are duplicated.
Because metamodel is present in project before I package it.
When I package with maven it generates new bunch of metamodel classes which are the same as I have !
Please, help to avoid this because I am fighting this for about two days!
I think that has something to do with the plugins that are defined in the pom.xml file. Without knowing what plugins you have in pom.xml it is hard to say what the solution would be. Perhaps post the pom.xml.
I resolved this issue already by deleting each time before packaging those metamodel classes.
I do this simply by
Then when I refresh project IDE automatically builds the same metamodel classes again!
Unfortunately I really stuck with this stupid issue:
My glassfish-web.xml is simple and is almost all copied from JavaEE-tutorial:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE glassfish-web-app PUBLIC "-//GlassFish.org//DTD GlassFish Application Server 3.1 Servlet 3.0//EN" "http://glassfish.org/dtds/glassfish-web-app_3_0-1.dtd">
When deploy my war I have this error (the funny thing that it is not always, but often)
SEVERE: Unable to locate the DTD to validate your deployment descriptor file [WEB-INF/glassfish-web.xml] in archive [JavaHelp]. Please make sure the DOCTYPE is correct (no typo in public ID or system ID) and you have proper access to the Internet.

I can't format error because Code button does not work.
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
