With evolving clients now it is possible to do a lot of logic on client-side of Web application, how it is dove for gmail for example.
Are there good practices for creating client-side architecture?

Yes, and they are the same best practices that aply elsewhere. That's great because you don't have to learn new best practices, but continue to apply the same ones you've already been using!
There are even frameworks to help. For example, see backbonejs.org for an MVC framework.
The book also emphasizes best practices that are particular to the browser environment.
