For those who want to see a basic Tapestry tutorial, mine was just published at SitePoint.com.

I wanted to do your tutorial in MyEclipse, but MyEclipse 4.1 (the latest version) doesn't yet support Tapestry 4. I was told it's a Spindle issue that will be addressed "soon". Your tutorial looks like another good one! - M

You could do his tutorial in MyEclipse since his tutorial is based on T3.

Well, I do like Tapestry 3, really, and on the level of this tutorial the difference with Tapestry 4 would be in syntax of page specification only. But user input validation is so much superior in T4 that I will just have to upgrade to T4 if this tutorial will go on. Hopefully, Geoff Longman will release Spindle for T4 by that time
