can a attribute class implement HttpSessinAttributeListener ?

please refer hfsj 2nd edition page 264. there is a table showing various session related events and listeners. it says that HttpSessionAttributeListener is usually implemented by "some other class" as opposed to attribute class(attribute bound to session scope). but is it always true. can we have a attribute class implement HttpSessionAttributeListener ? if not why and if yes what will be the consequences

No. That's what HttpSessionBindingListener is for.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
