Hello,
i have just got the book head first servlets and jsp i am about 90 pages into the book and it seems like it it is going to fast for me so could someone give me a very detailed version of how servlets, jsp, containers and html all work together with MCV,
i am not new to java i am OK at java se but this book is not explaining some of the methods or other code used in the examples properly,
and if you have the book already could you please tell me if it explains all this stuff in more detail later on in the book(especially the methods/strange code)
Thanks in advanced.

can you please be more specific. i mean to say that in the book exactly where you are facing doubt ? if you are finding head first servlet and jsp(most recommended book for servlet and jsp, and also for web component certification) fast then you may try some other book , but i think head first is one of the best book. i say you stick to the book and wherever you are in doubt post here on javaranch and you will get help .

In my opinion, you aren't going to find a book that explains things at a better pace than the Head First book, so it might be best to post examples that have you flummoxed here.

Are you perhaps going through the book too fast? The Head First series is designed such that you really need to pay close attention to each lesson, and to work through the exercises and problems.
