Good framework for desktop swing applications

Hi all

Can anyone suggest a good framework like the xui framework but more for developing swing desktop applications that run locally on the computer.

in case that you want a framework to use to build a desktop application based on swing then take a look at NetBeans RCP and swingx project
swingx provide some very neat swing component and netbeans platform can be used as a base for your application
