In 2011, Apress published my Beginning Java 7 book, which is designed to introduce Java 7 to beginners. At my publisher's request, this book also includes an introductory chapter on Android app development.

Beginning Java 7 consists of 12 chapters and 4 appendixes. All 4 appendixes are given away for free. Two of these appendixes (A and B) are included in the book's code file, and the other two appendixes (C and D) are available for download from my website. An errata document is also included that notes several unfortunate technical mistakes and also presents corrections.

I recently revised Appendixes C and D to improve content quality and add new material. You can learn more about Beginning Java 7 and freely download PDF files for these appendixes and the errata by pointing your browser to http://tutortutor.ca/cgi-bin/makepage.cgi?/books/bj7. You can also learn more about Beginning Java 7 via the Apress web page at http://www.apress.com/9781430239093.

Have a great 2013!

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
