Could some experts make a comparison b/w struts and tapestry ? when should I pick struts instead of tapestry and when should I pick tapestry instead of struts ? Plus, also heard about JSF, when should we consider that one ?

Struts is much older than tapestry. It is also, therefore, far more popular and widely used. But, as many including myself agree, it is not as good. Tapestry is truly well built around the concepts of MVC, web application related events, navigation and pages, component modularity/reuse, etc.
