Need carrier guidance

i need some proper carrier guidance. I started my java carried in one good midlevel company which have lot of learning opportunity for learning
but after short term of time i moved into different team. The responsibility of the team is to provide the architecture to other team
in that team i worked in java web service technology and bpel technology and some functional programming language(groovy).now my biggest worried
is i continually work on different different un related technology. Because of this i not able to depth in any i near to complete three
Years but i not even sound in core java it good or bad???is i continue my carrier in same organization in architect or moved somewhere and worked as a
Java developer???What time limit and skill needed for proper architect???

As a part of "career" (not carrier) guidance, I would advice you to work on your communication skills and especially English (unless you are working in a company / country where English is not used at all), since you would typically need good English to communicate across borders.

If you think your Core Java skills need improvement and if you think you cannot get more exposure to Core Java from your current job, you can try to work on some freelance projects in your spare time or even try some small apps on your own.
