I am getting this error when I try to compile this code:

I have checked for misnaming errors, or typos, and cannot see any, so I am stumped here. Can anyone see something I am missing Please??

NewClass is an abstract class with at least one abstract method. You did not override that abstract method with a concrete implementation.

What are you trying to do with this code?

I am trying to start a simple GUI that will be useful later for more involved projects, but it won't even let me get out of the gate....

You need to show us more about NewClass. Do you understand what abstract methods are? The NewClass has a method which has a name, has the identifier abstract and has no implementation or code. It is a sign that subclasses, like NewGUI, must write the code for that method. You need to find out which method is missing and what it is supposed to do. Then you need to implement (write the code) for that method.

We can't help you any further because we have no access or knowledge of what NewClass is.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
