It's a fully free cataloguer which supports creating your own modules, add new fields (of any type), import file information, create reports (xslt), online services for enriched information without typing, and much (much!) more.
It's over 10 years in development (it started as CD Library a long time ago) and is still actively developed.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
