My application uses external web services - with login, password, certificates etc... Do I need use security system of java? Thanks.

Don’t know. I don’t think anybody can give a helpful answer unless you provide more details, please.
I am moving this discussion as too difficult for the beginning forum.
 
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
