This week's book giveaways are in the Refactoring and Agile forums. We're giving away four copies each of Re-engineering Legacy Software and Docker in Action and have the authors on-line! See this thread and this one for details.
I have a question regarding JSF navigation, I am looking for a process to improve it for my following specific case :
I have a page address.xhtml to fill users addresses in my application. Such a page can be used/called from several other pages of my application.
So I was wondering if there is no better way to manage the navigation from this page instead of using the faces-config.
When I validate my address form, I want to return on the page caller. With regular JSF navigation, I should manage an entry in the faces-config for each page caller :
this can be heavy, so I try to find another way to navigate from my address page.
I have overridden the navigation handler to catch each navigation cases and store them in a stack.
With that I have the navigation history, so I am looking for a way to force/ to trigger the navigation process with the desired historic case.
