Dear Friends,

I want to know whether WAS (Websphere Application Server) ver 7.0 supports Java 7 JRE. Can anyone give me any idea about the same?

Currently, JAVA_HOME ( as seen through the Admin Console of the server) is pointing to a JRE version 6.0. I am going to point this variable to a JRE location with version 7 and going to check whether the application works. But apart from this, I also want to get advice from you guys regarding the same so that I would be confident in my findings.

Thanks in advance,

No. WebSphere 8.5 supports Java 7.
