As far as I know, it is NOT recommended to use JSF if I am not going to need rich graphics on my website. I want to make sure that this is the case.

Use JSF for HTML output and web forms.Do NOT use JSF to generate XML and binary formats such as PDF, MS-Office, and image files.

JSF is not greedy. You can use JSF in webapps that create non-HTML output, just route your non-JSF URL requests to something more appropriate than the FacesServlet.

Thanks Tim. If I have a very simple web form and simple navigation, should I use JSF or Struts?

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
