Hi Ranchers,

In the next few weeks, I need to design the J2EE architecture for my new project. I'm planning to use Spring and Hibernate as for the business tier. But, I still dont know which web framework I want to use later. I'm planning to use either Struts or JSF as for the web tier. Basically, I have been using Struts for more than 2 years and I want to try something different, i.e: JSF. But I also know that JSF is very tools-dependant, and my company doesnt want to buy licence for commercial IDE such as Websphere Studio, JDeveloper, or Weblogic Workshop. So, I want to ask opinion from all of you. Is it possible to develop a JSF-Spring-based web application with IDE such as Eclipse? If so, can we optimize the development process itself?
Thanks in advance.

Why don't you go with Spring MVC using eclipse. All the stuff is free.
