Will Selenium tool work in Remotely accessed ( thru Citrix) Internet Explorer

Hi,
I'm in a need to test an online application, through the Selenium tool.

But, unfortunately, I'm not able to open the given application locally. Hence, My client instructed me to test it in Remote environment.

Hence, I need to Open Citrix login page of my Client and login with my credentials and then, launch the 'Citrix Internet Explorer' and then, I Should open the 'Address' where the application resides.

The Problem is,

I have worked on Selenium tool, for application, which will work locally.

is it possible to test the application, in this Citrix launched InternetExplorer?

If Yes, Please, provide me some light on this.

If 'No', Please suggest me, some other tool, which I can use to test this kind of applications.
