Beyond Java 2nd edition
posted 3 years ago
I suppose its high time Bruce Tate beyond
book needs a 2nd edition, I am hoping to write the newer edition :-)
I request your kind suggestions and comments for the chapters?
My ideas are around
1.) Groovy and Grails need a better objective analysis - Existing JVM languages ( JVM installation base, Java's corporate penetration and inertia to change)
2.) Success and limitations of Ruby and ROR needs to be assessed ( penetration into Java's castle )
3.) PHP as a language with a never say die attitude.( Rapid prototyping Vs waterfall model)
4.) Cloud computing and their impact, Software as a service and future,
5.) Statistical R as a tool for BI solutions - possibility of R on JVM and R for web?
6.) Google chrome OS its role in future
7.) Earlang and concurrent programming
Cheap Java books
Which book to choose
Head First Java - Having a problem with GuessGame
New Edition of HFSJ.
Anybody know where I can purchase a good copy of this book?
