when you want include the output of the target resource in the current response, rather than defer the request to the other resource.

Gurpeet :: the question is not about difference between RequestDisptcher and sendRedirect...

Bear :: how can we process the request concurrently on two different servlets?? is it if client open another tab of the browser..

There will be two separate request running in different threads. You don't have to do anything special to handle this except ot be sure that your code is written in a thread-safe manner.
