Hello, I only want to search for some specialists to test an application and maybe explain the reasons why I cannot run it here (in Germany). I have Win 7 64 bit and Java JDK 7.
I am a dummy and have no idea of java and programming, so I cannot understand, what´s happens here.
I want to run Maniview.jnlp from here. I fail with following errormessage
java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "0,2000"

Is this failure caused by my locale setting? If so, you must be able to run the programm from the states (?), if not what is the prob?
Is anyone so kind and help me out?

To me it certainly looks like a locale problem. Have you tried contacting the owner of the application? That's certainly where I would start if somebody else's application failed when I tried to use it.

I hope there is no missunderstanding. Did you test this application?
I thought is a problem of my local settings (Germany): maybe 0.2000 instead of 0,2000?
Can you agree that this application is a sample of bad programming?
I am not able to patch it, so your link is not usefull for me, sorry for that.

Charlyms
