Hi Ranchers,

Today i cleared OCEJWCD 6(1z0-899) with 87%
The preparation took abt 7 weeks for me. I followed the following procedure,
1) Read Head First Jsp and Servlets
2) Read the Servlet 3.0 spec by Rajiv Mordani for new topics included in v6 of exam. This was my first time reading spec and yes i enjoyed it
3) Referred to the notes available at ScwcdLinks.
4) Solved the mock exam prepared by Piotr Nowicki. Thanks a lot Piotr This mock exam will help in clearing your concepts for the new features added in Servlet 3.0 [MUST DO]
5) SCWCD Notes by Frits avaiable in the scwcdlinks i mentioned in point 3. Thanks Frits [MUST DO]

Apart from this i would like to thank gurpreet for sharing the bookmarks he used during his preparation.

I did not go for the enthuware mock this time. But as per the reviews i have seen, i would go for it during my next exam

Now, it's party time

@Frits : Thanks a lot
Your notes are superb. They were very helpful for last minute preparation
I would go for OCEEJBD 6 now. Please provide me some tips to start with like the book and the links to refer to.

@Paul: Thanks

Thanks a lot Frits

As i see from our forum, a lot of success stories include the mock exams.
I have never used any such simulators before
They seem to clear a lot of detailed concepts though. Can you please guide me about the mock exam simulator to opt for?
I know about
1) Enthuware
2) Whizlabs and
3)EPractice Lab

Thanks in Advance
