IDE support for Scala

Currently I'm using IntelliJ CE. The Scala plugin looks good but not good enough as it would be for Java. I never liked the Eclipse Scala IDE that I used during my Coursera classes on Scala. It used to hang after every 15 minutes and I had to restart it. How do I get the additional plugins for those web frameworks based on Scala? I do not see any of them listed in my IntelliJ plugin list?

I had to ramp up the memory for the Eclipse Scala IDE, but once I'd done that it didn't hang (much) and rarely crashed. Not exactly great, but usable.

The "Ultimate" edition of IntelliJ seems to include the Play plugin.

I'm currently using IntelliJ 12 Ultimate Edition and it has support for Play Framework 2.0. Check the plug-in repository for "Play 2.0"

I do not have the funds to get the UE. Have to stick with the Community Edition.
