i have decided to write this exam 1z0-850 OCAJ 7....
can you please guide me
and tell me which book i have to follow to pass this exam

Koushik,
The exam name and number that you have mentioned are separate exams:
Exam 1z0-850 is based on Java SE5/ SE6.Exam 1z0-803 is based on Java SE7.
Which one are you planning to write?

Koushik,
Its not about an exam being better than the other. You should align the exam that you write with your goals. Exam 1Z0-803 is specifically for Java programmers. Exam 1Z0-850 is for professionals who are looking to understand Java and the related technologies without digging deep into the nitty gritty of its code. If you compare the exam topics of both these exams, the previous statement will make more sense :-)

Agree with Mala's comment. If you are beginner to know only the basics, then you must choose the first exam.
