time limit on certification assignment?

Hi All, hope someone can help me with a basic query....I passed SCJP in 2007 and purchased SCJD assignment in 2008. For one reason or another I never got round to completing assignment or submitting it.
Would my assignment still be active in 2013, almost 5 years later? Hope someone can help...

I don't think it's still eligible. If you want to take the assignment, you need to purchase another assignment. And don't forget about the mandatory course requirement (more info on Oracle's official certification page).
