MSIE Issue

On Internet Explorer my pages are not displaying correctly pertaining to the CSS code background-image: url('bgImage'); background-size: 100%; It displays as intednded on every other browser I have checked so far but not on MSIE. It is a Java Servlet that I am running from; although, it should not make a difference. Can anyone recomend a sample of code in the event that it is on MSIE? Remember it is a servlet so I can check to see if MSIE is contained within the User-Agent header and write a special snippet of code for IE browsers. Any suggestions?

It depends on the IE version. See support here
