This week's book giveaway is in the OCAJP 8 forum. We're giving away four copies of OCA Java SE 8 Programmer I Study Guide and have Edward Finegan & Robert Liguori on-line! See this thread for details.
I studied from the Sierra and bates books, and am in process of finishing the 3 mock exams. My scores on exams A, B and C are 60%, 44% and 44% respectively. For the first 2 exams I printed the study guides and learned why I got every problem that was marked wrong, and when I retook exam A I got a 90%, and when I retook exam B I got a 92%. I am in process of studying the ones I got wrong on exam C, and I am sure I will do much better when I retake it.
But is there hope of me passing the exam? These mock exams are not that simple, and from what I have read on the boards, the real exam is easier..... but I am not going in too confident. I plan on taking the exam this Friday.
All I can say here is that the real picture come infornt of you when you take the mock exam for the first time. So to test your prepration try to solve a new mock test rather than solving the priviously seen exam.
It will give you more clear picture about your current prepration and give you confidance.
