Please suggest me a method for uploading files like docx, xls, pdf.
what is the best to chose? to upload a file to a database or to upload a file to the server? im using jsp/servlet and im stucked between the file uploading part in my project. Since im very new to jsp please help me to be on right track.

Do not use a JSP for this. Using a JSP with Java code is an outdated and obsolete practice from 12 years ago.

It's like trying to build a smart phone using vacuum tubes.
