mock exam confusion - again

Here is a problem from a sierra/bates mock exam:

Here are answer options:

A. compilation succeeds
B. Compilation fails due to a single error in the code
C. Compilation fails due to multiple errors in the code
D. ...
E. ....

The answer states that B AND C are correct options. I understand that there are multiple errors in the code piece above, but it confuses me that they say B and C are correct answers. If this were on a real exam, I would have chosen option C, not B.

Does anyone know the rationale for this? What should I do on the real exam?

Have you checked out Aspose?
