how to create jar, war and ear files to deploy EJB component

Hi Experts ! I'm new to ejb... I just want to know the complete directory structure and then command prompt syntax for creating jar,ear files to deploy those EJB components on app server. I'm using Sun Java App Server. And also tell any tool if available from sun application server.

A sort description for which component where to put in which directory..... pleazzzzzzz

Hi Michal ! Thanks for this directory structure, it was very helpful for me ....

I also want the command prompt syntax to create "war" , "jar" and "ear" files... specially for EJB components....

Please help me.....

War and Ear files are just jar files in a specific format with a specific extension. So the command line is jar -cvf ...

It may be easier to use Ant rather than do this at the command line though so you don't have to keep writing the same commands.
